General Information : Requirements

• Trainees attending courses with practical exercises MUST ensure to    bring with them the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  
  
  • Hard Hat / Safety Helmet
  • Reflective Jacket
  • Overalls / Uniform
  • Safety Footware
  • Wet Weather Clothing
  • Gloves

PLEASE NOTE THAT WITHOUT ALL OF THE ABOVE, TRAINEES
CANNOT TAKE PART IN THE COURSE

1. Trainees should arrive on site for registration by 08.30 hrs at the latest.
   
   
2. Trainees are required to bring a Calculator and a Passport size Photograph for their passport.
   (If the student has an Institute of Vehicle Recovery passport or training book please bring it along to the course for updating.)
   
   
3. All practical work will be "Hands On" exercises and the trainees will be continually assessed while on the course.
   
   
4. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required as the course involves a certain amount of bending, kneeling and lifting during the practical work. Therefore students must be fit and able to cope with these activities.
   
   
5. When the practical work has been covered, further training and discussion will continue in the classroom followed by the examination.

  OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES WILL NOT BE SUSPENDED BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER.
  
  
  DRUGS OR ALCOHOL ABUSE IS NOT TOLERATED.
