Training Services Ltd. Makes the Grade!!
We
are the first
Rescue and Recovery training centre in the UK to make
the grade and have a member of staff qualify to CAT-4
trainer standard. It is also the first time the Rescue
and Recovery industry in the UK has received such a high
recognition from the regulatory bodies.
Congratulations to Steve Kirton on becoming a CAT-4 trainer
passing the rigorous examinations both written and practical
on August 2005. In sponsoring the training of Steve Kirton
the IVR Training Services Ltd. has demostrated once more
their commitment to the quality of their training and
their phylosophy of always achieving the highest standard
and developing the skils of their trainers.
"It was one of the most difficult courses I have
ever taken" said Steve in an interview shortly after
completing the examination.
Well done Steve!

| IVR Training Bookings |
Due to the increasing demand for training places on
our courses, IVR Training
has doubled the number of times the most popular courses
are run. Also the choice of venues around the country
where trainees can attend is constantly being expanded.
With the introduction in the near future of our new
Modular approach to training, the "think
tank" at IVR Training anticipate the demand will
increase yet again.
This clearly demostrates that IVR Training services
has the most professional approach to training and that,
for the first time, the Rescue and Recovery industry
in the UK has a clear choice as to where operators can
send their employees to be professionally trained to
the highest standard and with a clearly defined career
path to follow.
IVR Training will always encourage trainees to obtain
the City and Guilds or relevant qualification available
for the course candidates are attending. This not only
makes sense for the student, it is also beneficial for
the employer and the industry in general.

| IVR Training Plans for new
video |
Following the overwhelming success of their last
training video, the IVR Institute has revealed plans
for a new video project, Life
on the Edge 7.
Since the publication of Life
on the edge 6, the Rescue and Recovery Industry
has made so much progress both at home and abroad
that the need for a new training video is necessary.
Operators have expressed much praise for the video
Life on the Edge 6 for the "eye opening"
way the producers introduced the viewer to the need
for awareness. With the enlargement of the European
Union and the increased frequency UK operators are
called upon to effect recoveries of both passenger
and heavy goods vehicles on the continent, operators
now feel there is a need for a video to illustrate
the latest practices of the industry at home and abroad.
European enlargement means not only a constant review
of the regulations from our own Health and Safety
Executive but also from the European Union.
